Join with Pir Shabda, the Murshids Circle, and our Jamiat Khas family in the heart space of gathered community for four days of advanced training. This year the Jamiat Khas Leaders Retreat continues the focus of deepening in the practices of our lineage, in service to our own awakening and towards that of our mureeds. As a community of teachers, we will deepen together in our experience of transmission through teachings inspired by Murshid Samuel Lewis, Hazrat Inayat Khan and the ever-living presence of our ancestral blessing steam.

Balanced Mysticism, Tassawuri, Walks & Dances, Breath, Zikr, Applied Wazifa, Sacred Psychology, Meditation, and Communion

Murshid Wali Ali and Murshida Leilah will open our days with their class, "Drawing Forth Jewels of Our Lineage - Through the process of fana-fi-Pir, effacement in the inner state of the departed Master, we attune to the words and teachings of Sufi Ahmed Murad Chisti and Hazrat Inayat Khan, seeking awakening and the light of guidance on the path of our lives." In the afternoon Pir Shabda will offer a class: "Serving the Message". A variety of other classes with senior teachers will also be offered.

We will meet at Lake Doniphan Retreat Center, 50 minutes northeast of Kansas City, MO.

The retreat begins with dinner served at 6:00 pm (evening session at 7:30) on Wednesday and closes with lunch served at 1:00 pm on Sunday.

Please try and arrange your travel plans so to be present at the whole retreat. On-site Check In registration opens at 4:00 pm.
